I decided to start messing around with 3D printing discs and after some trial and error had discs that were good enough to bag. These discs were all printed on a Bambu P1S with the smooth print bed and a glue stick. Overture HSTPU was used for the first two discs and Sainsmart TPU was used for the third.
How do they fly? The understable disc is insanely understable and if you throw it with decent power it’ll flip up on edge and turn into a roller. The neutral disc reminds me a bit of a Hex but potentially more of a -2/2 instead of -1/1.
If you’d like your own all of the print files are located here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/17ahASBirgSqxsjS3uQhIDpz1lc0MN9jV?usp=drive_link
Feel free to iterate on the design, make it your own, etc. If you end up doing cool stuff with ’em I’d love to hear about it. Beyond that, if you end up making a real product based on these I’d appreciate a shout out. Enjoy.
